After New Jersey, a second US state will get a PokerStars room.
Next Monday (4), PokerStars arrives in Pennsylvania. This state will have its first regulated online poker room. This will be the second state of the USA to have a PokerStars room. The first was New Jersey.
The site will operate in a trial phase for two or three days, during which the Pennsylvania Game Control Board (PGCB) will evaluate: payment processing and responsible gaming measures, player experience in the room, including the geolocation service and the functionality of the services. After this period, PokerStars will be licensed to act.
Only players over 21 will be eligible to have a PokerStars registration, unlike Brazil, where registration can be done at the age of 18. At the beginning, only people in the state can play on the site. They do not need to be residents, but must be located in Pennsylvania. Liquidity will not be shared with New Jersey, but this is not ruled out in the future.
