Bayern Munchen

The German team was European champion, in addition to winning everything that participated last season. He is the base of the German team, and currently has the best player in the squad in the world: Robert Lewandowski. The team has won 3 editions of the tournament and guarantees to be motivated to reach the tetra, even though naturally the European teams do not focus much on the competition. He's the big favorite to win the World Cup.

Palm Trees

Verdão won the Copa Libertadores for the second time, qualifying to play in the World tournament. He will seek his first title, since in the previous opportunity he ended up being defeated. The team feels the weight of the lack of this trophy in its history, as its great rivals from São Paulo have already won the cup. The team mixes youth with experience in its squad, and has in charge the young Portuguese coach Abel Ferreira.
 

Tigers

The Mexican team won Concacaf for the first time, after countless runners-up. Now they will try to break another taboo: a Mexican team has never reached the final of the tournament. Interestingly, there is a Brazilian coach, Tuca Ferreti, who has been in charge of the team for years. The great star of the team is the French striker Gignac, besides having other known players in the squad, such as the Brazilian Rafael Carioca and the Uruguayan Nico López, ex Inter of Porto Alegre, who was diagnosed with coronavirus and was left out of the list.
 

Al Ahly

African champion, the Egyptian team is participating for the sixth time in the World Championship, but has reached the maximum in the semifinals of the competition, on two occasions. The team has been 31 games undefeated, adding all competitions.
 

Ulsan Hyundai

The South Korean team is in the competition for being the current Asian champion. It will be the second time that the team will play the tournament, and there will be a Mexican team again along the way. It arrives like underdog, even to advance to the semifinals.
 

Al Duhail

The team will play the tournament as a guest, for being the current national champion of the host country. They are currently one of the greatest teams in Qatar, winning numerous national championships in the decade. In his squad he has a known face: the Brazilian Dudu, ex-Palmeiras.
