After three years away from the poker tables, living legend Doyle Brunson has returned to his activities in the game. "Retired" since 2018, Doyle has returned to the spotlight at the World Series of Poker. Known as "Texas Dolly", one of the greatest poker players in the world, Doyle decided to show his face again at this year's WSOP, and made a presence at the tables of the current series.

According to reports, Doyle Brunson was present at the table of Event #58 US$1,000 Super Seniors, of the World Series of Poker. The event in question was open to players over 60 years old. In Doyle's case, the legend is currently 88 years old and chasing his eleventh World Series of Poker title.

Doyle's return was a beautiful moment for poker lovers. WSOP Twitter Account Manager Kevin Mathers was delighted to welcome Doyle to the WSOP again, and captured the moment in a photo posted on his own profile. Besides Mathers, another big name in the poker world was delighted with Brunson's participation in the WSOP, in this case, Phil Hellmuth. Legend Hellmuth was also present at the WSOP and didn't miss the opportunity to take a picture with Doyle and post it on his Twitter profile, writing the following caption: "The greatest poker legend in the world is here playing a tournament."
 
Don't forget that Doyle Brunson has more than $3 million in profit from World Series of Poker tournaments alone. Despite the "small amount", it should be noted that Brunson had his most active period during the 70s. Also, the last time Doyle Brunson was present at the World Series of Poker, the legend hit the post to take another home bracelet. According to reports, the creators of the movie "The Last Dance", about Michael Jordan, intend to create a documentary about the history of the living poker legend.
 
The big news excited the poker community a lot after Brunson commented that the creators of The Last Dance would be interested in documenting his career in poker. In the episode in question, Doyle released the information after a fan asked the legend to share more information about his life journey with his followers. After this moment, the "Texas Dolly" decided to answer: "They are making a documentary about my life now. It has been going on for a month and is going to be a lot longer. Same group that did The Last Dance is doing it."
 
After 40 years of service to the poker community, Doyle Brunson is now at the peak of his 88th years, and is considered a living legend in the game.
